4th General Assembly of the CIRCALGAE project
The 4th General Assembly of the CIRCALGAE project took place on 30 and 31 May 2024 at Lofthus! All the members of the European CIRCALGAE project consortium met in Norway.
The project’s Norwegian partner, ALGINOR, a company specialising in the harvesting of macroalgae and the production of ingredients for pharmaceutical and nutraceutical applications, organised this half-yearly meeting.
During the meeting, the state of progress of each Work Package was presented and numerous discussions took place around these initial results. From now, the end-users, partners in the project, will get down to the business of developing new products based on the ingredients discovered, for the three studied sectors.
The consortium then travelled by boat to Haugesund to visit the future Alginor pilot plant! The next project meeting will take place in October 2024 in Portugal, at the same time as the next workshop on microalgae, which you can attend online!
